Sirius Chocolat Wins 1st Place at AlpacaFest

Sierra Bonita's Sirius Chocolat entered the Two Year Old Brown Male Suri class and beat the competition!  (That's him in his full fleece glory in the video picture above.) We are so excited! The judge, Jude Anderson, said she really liked his luster, regrowth lock structure as it is growing in for the winter, and his conformation too.  That's music to our ears!  Plus, when he's home at Phoenix Hill Farm, he's Mr. Personality,  always the first one to greet any and all visitors. 

If you are considering adding a meduim brown Jr. Herdsire (sired by true black, multiple champion, Sierrra Bonita's Sirius Black) to your herd, you must consider Sierra Bonita's Sirius Chocolat.

Workshop - Is Alpaca Farming Right for Me?

Are you curious about the details of alpaca farming and wondering if you can make it work?  Attend this overview of the alpaca business, alpaca health care, and evaluating the animals to learn more.

Helping Hospice at the Market on State

We'll set up the shop in the mall along with other regional crafts people to help support
the vital work of Appalachian Commumity Hospice.  We're donating a portion of our
sales to keep Hospice thriving in our area.  We will NOT be at the Community Center
on this day, so please come to the mall to show your support!

Alpacas ruled the day at East Elementary School in Athens when the kids in Ms. Claudia Shultz's class learned about alpacas and the beautiful products made from their fabulous fleece.  We're not sure who had more fun, the kids or the alpacas!
